CUET preparation starts with a decision about where you want to apply, not with a random collection of practice questions. The subjects, eligibility conditions and admission process depend on the programme and participating institution. Treat the current official bulletin and university admission pages as the source of truth.

Connect your target course to its requirements

Make a short list of the programmes you are considering. For each one, note the required subjects, any eligibility conditions and the application steps stated by the institution. If two programmes have different requirements, keep separate checklists rather than assuming one subject combination works for both.

Build preparation around the listed subjects

Once you have confirmed the subjects, divide each one into manageable topics. Study a concept, practise questions related to it and record what needs another review. Mix timed practice into your preparation gradually, while continuing to revisit topics where recall is weak.

  • Read the current CUET bulletin and save the official version you consulted.
  • Check each target programme's subject combination and eligibility separately.
  • Create a topic checklist for every required subject and update it after practice.
  • Keep application dates, documents and admission steps in a separate reminder list.

Review your readiness, not just your timetable

A completed study session is useful, but being able to explain a topic or answer an unfamiliar question is stronger evidence of learning. Every week, review the questions you missed and choose the next topics based on that evidence. This keeps the plan responsive as your understanding improves.
